AirOps alternatives and pricing: 6 tools compared, plus AirOps vs Profound (2026)
AirOps is a content platform for AI search with no dollar price on its pricing page. AthenaHQ, Writesonic and Trakkr also create content, with public prices. Profound, Scrunch and Peec AI focus on tracking.
AirOps is a platform that tracks AI search visibility and then creates, refreshes and publishes content to improve it. Its pricing page shows no dollar price. The best AirOps alternatives are AthenaHQ, Writesonic and Trakkr if you want tracking plus content at a public price, and Profound, Scrunch or Peec AI if you mainly want tracking.
We read each company's own site on 1 November 2026, and every fact links to its source. AirOps sells content production first, so we split the alternatives into two groups. At the end we cover where AirOps is stronger, and how Rank Monthly is a different approach.
What is AirOps?
AirOps describes itself as "the partner behind your brand's AI search strategy" (AirOps). It sells three things: a software platform, a strategy team, and help with channels. The platform page has three parts. Intelligence shows where your brand stands with buyers and where competitors lead. Action covers Playbooks, Workflows, Brand Kits, Knowledge Bases and human review. Measurement covers Content Scores, Agent Analytics and shifts in visibility, citations and sentiment by model, region and competitor.
Native CMS integrations let it create, refresh and publish pages on your own site. Since June 2026 it also runs AirOps Offsite: it ranks third-party publishers by an "Influence Score", supports outreach to land mentions, and tracks the lift. A fully managed version handles outreach, content, negotiation, payments and reporting.
How much does AirOps cost?
AirOps shows no dollar price for any plan on its pricing page. Solo and Pro have a "Start for free" button; Enterprise has "Work with us". The FAQ says pricing is "based on your task volume and specific needs". AirOps' own AirOps vs Profound post says it "Starts at $0/mo" and lists Pro as talk to sales.

Tasks are the unit you pay for. AirOps counts a task when certain workflow steps run, such as generating content or extracting data. On Solo, extra tasks cost $0.025 each, and tasks reset each calendar month. The FAQ also describes a 14-day free trial with no payment details and 50,000 free credits to test workflows.
Why do people look for AirOps alternatives?
No dollar price. You can start free, but Pro and Enterprise costs need a sales call.
Task-based billing. Cost depends on how many workflow steps run, which is hard to estimate before you build.
Narrow tracking on Solo. Solo covers ChatGPT insights only; the 10+ engines start at Pro.
One brand on Solo and Pro. Both plans include one Brand Kit, so agencies and multi-brand teams land on Enterprise.
Scope. AirOps is a content production system. A team that only wants to know whether ChatGPT names it may need less.
AthenaHQ is the closest match. Starter costs $295 a month with 3,600 credits (1 credit is 1 AI response), unlimited prompts and seats, and 11 models including Claude, Grok, DeepSeek and Mistral. It adds on-page and off-page actions and a content optimization agent. A free Essential plan has 300 credits (AthenaHQ pricing).
Writesonic calls itself "The AI Search Growth Engine" and says its agent "rewrites pages for GEO" (Writesonic). Starter is $79 a month billed annually with 50 prompts on ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews, plus 15 articles. Growth is $399 a month billed annually with 200 prompts and 50 articles. Perplexity, Claude and Copilot are Enterprise only (Writesonic pricing).
Trakkr tracks 8 models on every paid plan. Growth is $100 a month ($83 billed yearly) for one brand, 50 prompts, 25 articles a month and fixes shipped to your site. (Trakkr pricing).
If you mainly want tracking
Profound covers up to nine engines on Enterprise and runs every prompt daily, captured from the browser rather than the API (Profound). Scrunch Core is $250 a month for 125 prompts on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Copilot; Claude, Gemini and AI Mode are on custom Enterprise (Scrunch pricing). Peec AI starts at $95 a month for 50 prompts with unlimited seats; self-serve plans run 3 active models, Claude is Enterprise only and Perplexity is listed as a paid add-on (Peec AI pricing). Our Profound and Peec AI alternatives pages go deeper on these three.
AirOps vs Profound: what is the difference?
Profound started as a tracker and added agents. AirOps started as a content workflow tool and added tracking. AirOps' own comparison puts it this way: "Profound shows visibility. AirOps turns insights into content that wins AI search and SEO" (AirOps vs Profound). That is one side's view; the table uses each company's own pages.

One price conflict to know about. AirOps' comparison page lists Profound Starter at $99 a month and Growth at $399 a month, billed annually. Profound's own pricing page showed only a free trial and a custom Enterprise plan on 1 November 2026. Ask Profound for a quote, and see our Profound pricing page.
Pick Profound if daily tracking captured from the browser, on up to nine engines, is the job. Pick AirOps if your team will produce and refresh many pages from the data.
Where is AirOps stronger?
Execution: it goes from a visibility gap to a published or refreshed page in one system, with CMS integrations that keep field mappings and item IDs.
Governance: Brand Kits, human review and version history suit teams with many writers.
Off-site work: Offsite scores publishers and can run outreach, negotiation and payments as a managed service.
Services: a strategy team and expert onboarding come with the platform.
If you need all of that, a tracker will feel thin. If you want a clear monthly price or only want measurement, the alternatives fit better. For a wider list, see the best AI visibility tools and the best AEO tools.
Is Rank Monthly an AirOps alternative?
Only for one part of it. Rank Monthly does not write or refresh pages on your site, and it is not a tracker. It books businesses into the listicles, newsletters and LinkedIn creator posts that buyers read and AI assistants quote, and keeps them there. That overlaps with AirOps Offsite, not with the content platform.
Third-party pages matter. In Foundation and AirOps' 2026 study of 5.1 million AI responses for 50 B2B brands, 2.24% of AI citations on category questions went to the brand's own pages.
It is a marketplace. Publishers join and connect Search Console, Analytics and WordPress, so traffic numbers are measured, not typed in.
Brands add their website and set a budget. Matching runs on real data, and autopilot writes the entry and tracks every placement.
Brands pay monthly only while the spot is live, or once for a new post. Payment is held until the placement is verified live, and publishers are paid monthly for spots they hold.
One ledger shows every placement, page visit, click and AI mention, month by month, with what was paid.
Watch out: Rank Monthly is in early access, with no customers or results yet. Only publishers who joined are available. Pricing is on request, and nobody can promise rankings or AI mentions.
AirOps shows no dollar price on its pricing page. On 1 November 2026, Solo (35,000 tasks a month) and Pro (100,000 tasks) showed "Start for free" and Enterprise was custom. The only listed figure is $0.025 per extra task on Solo.
Is there a free version of AirOps?
AirOps lets you start Solo and Pro for free, and its FAQ describes a 14-day free trial with no payment details needed until the end, plus 50,000 free credits to test workflows.
What is the cheapest AirOps alternative that also creates content?
Writesonic Starter is $79 a month billed annually with 15 articles, and Trakkr Growth is $100 a month ($83 a month billed yearly) with 25 articles.
Is AirOps or Profound better?
They do different main jobs. Profound tracks AI answers on up to nine engines, captured from the browser daily. AirOps tracks visibility and then creates, refreshes and publishes content.
Is Rank Monthly like AirOps Offsite?
Partly. Both deal with third-party pages AI quotes. Rank Monthly is a marketplace where brands pay monthly only while a spot is live, and payment is held until it is verified live. It is in early access.
