Peec AI alternatives: 7 AI visibility tools compared (2026)
Peec AI tracks AI answers daily from $95 a month, but self-serve plans run 3 models and leave out Perplexity and Claude. Trakkr, Scrunch and AthenaHQ include both; Otterly.AI is cheaper.
Peec AI is a daily AI visibility tracker from $95 a month that scrapes the real chat interfaces. Its self-serve plans run 3 active models and leave out Perplexity and Claude. The best Peec AI alternatives are Trakkr and Scrunch for Claude and Perplexity, Otterly.AI for a lower price, AthenaHQ for 11 engines and Profound for enterprise.
We read every vendor's own site on 31 October 2026 and link each fact to its source. Peec AI is a strong tool, so we start with what it does well. Then we cover the plan limits that make people compare, seven alternatives, and where Rank Monthly fits as a different approach.
What does Peec AI do well?
Method you can check: its docs say Peec uses UI scraping, so answers reflect what a visitor sees, not an API response.
Public prices: Starter $95 a month (50 prompts), Pro $245 (150), Advanced $495 (350), Enterprise custom (Peec pricing).
Source data on every plan: citation share, retrievals, domain and URL detail and source classification, plus gap analysis and recommended actions.
Team friendly: unlimited seats, languages and competitors on every plan, with MCP and a Google Analytics integration.
Scale: its homepage says more than 3,500 brands and agencies use it (Peec AI).
Why do people look for Peec AI alternatives?
Mostly because of engine coverage and plan limits, not data quality. On the pricing page we read on 31 October 2026:
Perplexity and Claude are Enterprise only. Starter, Pro and Advanced list ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI.
3 active models on every self-serve plan. You choose 3 of those 6 engines, so covering ChatGPT, Gemini and both Google surfaces at once needs Enterprise.
Starter is tight for a SaaS team: 1 country, 1 project, no API and no objection tracking.
Cost per prompt: $95 for 50 prompts is about $1.90 a prompt. Some tools give more prompts or more engines for similar money.
If your buyers mostly use ChatGPT and Google, these limits may not matter. If they use Perplexity or Claude, look at the tools below.
Which Peec AI alternatives cover what it leaves out?
Trakkr checks eight models daily on every paid plan: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI, with no per-model fees. Growth is $100 a month ($83 billed yearly) for one brand and 50 prompts, with citations, sources and 25 articles a month. Growth has 3 seats where Peec has unlimited (Trakkr pricing).
Scrunch: more prompts and every major engine
Scrunch includes ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, AI Overviews and Meta on every plan. Starter is $250 a month billed annually ($300 month to month) with 350 custom prompts, the same count as Peec Advanced at $495, plus 1,000 industry prompts. Seats are limited to 3 on Starter (Scrunch pricing).
Otterly.AI: cheaper, with Perplexity included
Otterly.AI Lite is $29 a month for 15 prompts on ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot, with unlimited seats. Standard is $189 for 100 prompts. Gemini and AI Mode are add-ons, and Claude is $109 a month extra on Standard (Otterly.AI pricing).
AthenaHQ: 11 models on one plan
AthenaHQ Starter covers 11 models for $295 a month, including Perplexity, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Meta AI and Mistral. It sells 3,600 credits a month (1 credit is 1 AI response) with unlimited prompts and seats, and suggests on-page and off-page actions (AthenaHQ pricing). Credits spread across 11 models run out faster than prompt slots on 3.
Promptwatch: the same price points, more models named
Promptwatch's Essential and Professional plans cost $95 and $245 a month for 50 and 150 prompts, like Peec's Starter and Pro. Every plan says "Track all models", and the homepage names ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, DeepSeek and Grok. It also says it scrapes the user interfaces (Promptwatch, pricing).
Rankscale: set your own cadence
Rankscale prices in credits, typically 0.25 credits per engine per prompt. Essentials is $17 a month billed yearly; Pro is $99 a month ($84 yearly) for 1,200 credits. All plans list 17+ engines and a cadence you choose from hourly to monthly (Rankscale pricing). Sentiment and team workspaces start on Pro.
Profound: when you outgrow self-serve
Profound captures answers from the browser on up to nine engines and runs every prompt daily, with Prompt Volumes, agents, SSO and SOC 2 (Profound). There is no public price: the site shows a 7-day trial and custom Enterprise (Profound pricing). See our Profound alternatives page for more.
Where is Peec AI still the better choice?
You want the method stated: UI scraping is written in Peec's docs. Trakkr, Scrunch, Otterly.AI and AthenaHQ don't state their method on the pages we read.
You want unlimited seats on the cheapest plan. Trakkr and Scrunch cap seats on their entry plans.
You track Naver AI. It is on Peec's self-serve plans and none of the alternatives above names it on the pages we read.
You want source classification, fact checks and objections in one tool at a public price.
Only if your real question is "how do I get named?" rather than "where am I named?". Peec AI's source data shows which pages AI cites. Its homepage gives G2, LinkedIn, Reddit and editorial sites as examples. Rank Monthly works on one kind of those pages: it books businesses into the listicles, newsletters and LinkedIn creator posts that buyers read and AI assistants quote, and keeps them there.
Independent lists are a large share of what AI cites for buyer questions. In a Prefer study from July 2026 of 188 answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude, 40% of the sources cited were independent lists. Vendors' own sites got 34%, review sites 3%.
One ledger shows every placement, page visit, click and AI mention, month by month, with what was paid. It reports on your placements; it is not a prompt-tracking dashboard like Peec.
Brands pay monthly only while a spot is live, or once for a new post. Payment is held until the placement is verified live.
Rank Monthly is in early access, with no customers or results yet. Only publishers who joined are available, and pricing is on request.
Google and the assistants decide what they show. Nobody can promise an AI mention.
On 31 October 2026 Peec AI listed Starter at $95 a month for 50 prompts, Pro at $245 for 150 and Advanced at $495 for 350, each with 3 active models and unlimited seats. Enterprise is custom, with unlimited prompts and 14 engines.
Does Peec AI track Perplexity and Claude?
Only on Enterprise. Its self-serve plans list ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI, with 3 active at a time. Enterprise adds Perplexity, Claude and other API-based models.
What is the best Peec AI alternative for Claude and Perplexity?
Trakkr includes both in all 8 models it checks daily from $100 a month. Scrunch includes both on every plan from $250 a month billed annually. AthenaHQ Starter covers 11 models, both included, for $295 a month.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Peec AI?
Yes. Otterly.AI Lite is $29 a month for 15 prompts and includes Perplexity. Rankscale Essentials is $17 a month billed yearly. Both give fewer prompts or answers than Peec Starter, so compare on cost per prompt.
How does Peec AI collect its data?
Peec AI's documentation says it uses UI scraping technology, not APIs, so the answers it records are close to what a visitor sees in the chat interface.
Can Rank Monthly replace Peec AI?
No. Rank Monthly is not a tracker. It books businesses into listicles, newsletters and LinkedIn posts that AI assistants quote, and reports AI mentions in its ledger. Many teams would use a tracker to find gaps and placements to act on them.
