Why Rank Monthly exists

Buyers ask AI assistants which software to use, and the answers mostly quote pages the brand doesn't own. 40% of the sources AI assistants cited for buyer questions were independent lists. Vendors' own sites got 34%, review sites 3%. (Prefer). 2.24% of AI citations on category questions went to the brand's own pages. The rest went to pages it doesn't own. (Foundation and AirOps).

So the lists, newsletters and posts other people write decide a lot of shortlists. Rank Monthly books businesses into them and keeps them there, and pays the publishers every month for the spots they hold.

Why monthly

Joran Hofman, who founded Rank Monthly, saw the same thing happen again and again. A brand pays a lot to get into a list article. Then the person behind the site moves on, the link quietly disappears, and nobody checks. Paying monthly, under an annual agreement, fixes that: every payment means the spot is still live, and you only pay for the time it is there. Publishers stay accountable for keeping the spot, and they get paid every month for doing it.

How it works

  • For businesses: add your website and set a budget. Rank Monthly matches you with publishers whose lists, newsletters and posts already reach your buyers, books the spots and reports every placement, visit, click and AI mention in one ledger. How it works for businesses.
  • For publishers: connect Search Console, Analytics and WordPress. Rank Monthly finds the spots in your lists, suggests a monthly price from your real clicks, and pays you every month for the spots you hold. How it works for publishers.

What we don't do

  • We don't promise rankings or AI mentions. Google and the AI assistants decide those.
  • We don't hide paid spots. The sponsored label and rel="sponsored" are on by default, and each publisher decides whether to keep them.
  • We don't type in numbers. Publisher traffic comes from their own connected data.
